ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Jo and I own and run The Laundromutt from my garden studio in the lovely village of Claygate.  Having been around animals all my life - growing up with various dogs and then having our own menagerie when the children were younger - I decided that I’d like to work with dogs and hence my career as a dog groomer started !

 

Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3, I trained at the D-O-G Grooming Studio in South West London under multi-award winning groomers, Anita and Piotr, whose fabulous teaching skills and depth of expertise has provided me with a wealth of knowledge as well as enabling me to gain invaluable practical experience working with a wide variety of dogs.

 

I am passionate about what I do and your pet’s welfare is paramount to me.  I treat each and every dog in my care as if it were my own.  I only take one dog at a time, unless they are from the same home, ensuring your pet receives a happy, positive and stress-free grooming experience. 

 

When I’m not grooming dogs you can usually find me walking in the woods with Ruby, our nutty cockapoo, pottering in the garden or spending time with our ever growing family!
